Ever since I was a kid dressing up as a veterinarian for Halloween and rescuing stray kittens, I knew this was where my heart belonged.
Today, I’m combining my love for animals and my veterinary background to help pet parents uncover the why behind their pet’s itch — with tools built from kindness, science, and simplicity.
The Story:
Long before I had “DVM” after my name, I was the kid carefully examining fur under a toy microscope and bottle-feeding kittens.
That curiosity turned into a lifelong passion and eventually a career. After years in practice, I realized most pet parents felt frustrated and helpless trying to manage chronic problems.
The Kind Vet grew from a simple idea: to give pet parents accessible, vet-created tools that make caring for their pet easier and more compassionate.
Meet Kelly:
None of this would exist without my fiancé, Kelly — a veterinary technician turned software developer.
Together, we’re bridging the gap between veterinary medicine and technology, building tools like the HotSpotter app that empower pet parents to take charge of their pet’s wellness. He’s the tech mind behind every feature, and I’m the vet brain behind every question it helps answer.
This really is a love story — for pets, for people, and for purpose.
